Bio

Steve Baer was a co-host of the Open Source Musician Podcast and currently hosts |The Deadbeat Guitarist Mugcast which he describes as a disorganized stream of beer consciousness hosted by a man now to lazy to play guitar because the call of the brew is too strong. Hear him ramble on the topics of beer, music and Linux whenever he gets around to it.

Steve lives in beautiful Squamish, BC, Canada with his wife and two children.

When not doing a podcast, Steve plays guitar, bass, harmonica and does a little singing as well. Steve composes his own music and has written music that was played in the following podcasts: The Linux Link Tech Show, Ten Buck Review, and Linux Cranks.

Aside from music, Steve is a fan of FOSS, GNU/Linux, good beer, chocolate, cycling, and referring to himself in the 3rd person.
