Life as I knew it
My first clear memory of participating is musical activities was when I tagged along with one of my three older brothers to violin lessons when I was 6 or 7. I remember enjoying the learning process, and was quite chuffed when I could play a piece from the violin book at speed while site reading. My participation was short-lived, but the seed was set.
The other two older brothers played clarinet and cello, while my dad noodled on his classic guitar on occasions. Meanwhile, Black Sabbath played on the record player, and Joe Satriani's Surfing with the Alien album was on high rotation in my walkman. My path seemed clear, and once I got up the courage to ask, my wish of learning guitar was granted.
